Creating a Video Lesson

After adding a lesson name, the following fields should be filled out:

Source Type: Click the dropdown menu to choose your video source type:
MP4: Upload an mp4 video file here. Recommended resolution specs are: 720p and limited to a file size of 600MB.
YouTube: Enter the url from a YouTube video you’d like to display. To get the YouTube url of a video, click on “Share” below the video and copy the link. Please note: Do not use the url that appears in your browser window as this can sometimes contain additional information.
Vimeo: Enter the url from a Vimeo video you’d like to display.
External Link: Enter the external url of a video here. When selecting this option, you can also upload a video thumbnail image. The video thumbnail is what displays before anyone clicks to play the video.
Embed: Enter an iframe embed code to embed a video player from another external source.
Once you select the video type, you can either enter the url or drag/drop/select the mp4 file to upload.
Please note: there is a maximum file size of 256 MB for any uploads. If your video file exceeds this size, you can use video editing software to decrease the file size or edit the video into smaller segments and upload those separately into different lessons.
Lesson Duration: Any information you would like to include about the duration of the lesson. 
Please note: The view below is your course’s sales page. If you enter information in the “Lesson Duration” box, that information will be shown. If you do not type in anything for the duration, the lesson type will be displayed.
Lesson Preview: If this toggle switch is in the on position, it makes this lesson available publicly to everyone, including people who have not purchased your course. This is helpful to have if you have content that you’d like to give a sample to people on how your course is.
Unlock the lesson after a certain time after the purchase: When this feature is toggled on, the student can
Lesson start time – The lesson will be locked till its designated start date/time. If you leave this blank, the student can access this lesson at their leisure.
Description: Description of the lesson that will be visible in the Course Curriculum tab on your course’s sales page.
Content: This is where you can post any additional text, links, photo or embeddable video content (from external links).
Lesson Materials: Files that can be viewed during this particular lesson.
You can either drag/drop the video file into the lesson or click on “Browse files” and select the file. While the video is uploading, the spinning wheel will appear. While this is showing, do not exit from the page. Once your video has completely uploaded, it will appear in the Lesson Video box.
